Pennybridge Pioneers album poster

One of 10 new original album posters printed on quality 150g offset paper in size A2.

Erik, who always create all artwork for Millencolin, recently re-scanned all his original artwork from back in 1993 up to our latest release SOS and made a matching series of ten album posters. Sold individually or in a full pack of 10 as long as the stock of all of them last.

"At this point in our career 1999, it felt like we took a new step from our previous three albums and I thought I’d do something genuine without using Photoshop or Illustrator for the art. I was really into classic action movie posters at the time, so I though why not make a painting which I used to do as a kid. What I forgot during those years was all the techniques and that oil paint take two weeks to dry. I remember slobbing off and on with this thing for a month with a tight deadline coming up. The silhouettes of us and the bottom part was not finished on the painting. I was planning to finish that after I finished the layout och the record cover, but that didn’t happen. I remember having panic about what I put myself into and no plan B. It turned out ok in the end for being really deep waters for me. The scooter is of course in the art because of the Fox lyrics. The green Volkswagen bus was our first van which burned down when we were driving home from a festival back in 95. The dices are from our song Random I Am. The skyline is a mix between our home town Örebro (Pennybridge) and Los Angeles where we recorded the album. For this new poster I've added the spray texture background slightly and also added a Pennybridge logo from the cd label to fill out the bottom space"
